SPEAKING TASK ( FOR STUDENTS)

 Hello my dear readers:

Today you going to practise speaking skill.

To do this, you will do two activities in groups of 6. I will give one of the six a mystery box.

  • ACTIVITY 1
Guess what is in the mystery box by asking your partner questions. Your partner can only answer yes or no.

Example:

 Is it an object?

is it heavy?

Can it fly?

When the team guesses the mystery object, you will receive a picture.

  •  ACITIVITY  2
Take it in turns to say everything you see in the picture in 2 minutes. When the time is up, it will be passed on to the next partner.

The aim is to name as many of the actions that are happening as possible in the form of a sentence.

☝ REMEMBER ☝

It is better to try and get it wrong than to say nothing at all.💓

  2. Hi Patricia,

I find your activity very interesting and exciting! I really liked the way you presented the activity by giving hints, I think it's a good way of motivating the students. Have you thought of adapting this activity so it can also be done at home? It would be so much fun to have "homework" this interactive and different to what we are used to!

Thanks for sharing this activity with us :)
